What you need

A Growatt hybrid inverter with a battery (e.g. SPH, SPA) and a working Growatt ShinePhone account.

A UK smart meter on Octopus Agile, Cosy, or another time-of-use tariff supported by ShiftCharge.

A solar PV system is recommended but not required — ShiftCharge still earns its keep on grid-only setups by buying low and avoiding peak.
